Kids waiting in anxious anticipation as their mother is going through some complicated surgery, for a very serious condition:
The Doc finally exits the surgery room, after several hours of surgery. He appears exhausted and disheveled, his scrubs are covered with blood.
Anxiously the kids ask, "So Doc, how did it go? Will Momma be alright?"
The Doc responds, well, it was touch and go for the longest time, It was a tough procedure. She actually died three times on the table, but we managed to resuscitate her"

Like a dumb ass, I read the story on the initial link, then clicked on the link expecting to see some outrageously priced cuban cigars. When the April Fools banner popped up, I could not believe how gullible I was. Great job by Famous.

Ha ha! Almost as good as Sidd Finch! That initial offer write-up sounded real...very real. Kudos to whoever at Famous Smoke Shop cooked up this one.

Hmmm. Have not had a beer since December, when the Doc suggested I ought to stop. Odd that folks thought the Famous stuff (which did occur) was funny, where my example (of something did NOT happen) wasn't funny.
