I found 3 great options below $100 bucks for a humidor. I want it to hold more than 100 cigars. So 100-200 it's my option but below $100..i know i know, can't go cheap but i'm tight on the budget right now and need the humidor since i live in the Dominican Republic and the temperatures and humidity are killing me.

I found theses:

First

SEcond

Third

If you find better deals, let me know :D

I'm more of a fan of the drawer type humidors so I say the 3rd. Just my opinion though.

If you're worried about temperature, those aren't going to help unless your house is a constant temp.

I'd look into a wine cooler. A bit more expensive, but you'll get the temperature control that you seek.

I understand but i can't right now :(

On the other hand, forget about those options...the website has REALLY bad reviews around the internet.

Go with the first one, less moving parts, fewer places to worry about a good seal. Just make sure wherever you buy has a good return policy and check the seal as soon as you get it.

Ya, #1 for sure.

Others "look" cool but too easy to break all that glass and the pull outs can get jacked.

Have you price compared at tampahumidor.com , the usually have good deals.

Ok, so no glass...which it's better...i agree. Since I'm shipping it to my country, so there's less risks to break or anything.

So i'll choose between theses...

Brother. Here is some very valuable advice. Buy bigger than you think you will need. Trust me, it will get filled quicker than you think. Had I to do it all over again, I would not have wasted money on smaller humis and saved for a bigger cabinet. I have an Avallo1200, which isn't big enough now. lol. Remember, you can always get a coolidor and set it up until you save money to get a big humi. Just my 2 cents.

But having said that, your first choice should work well, but grab a good digital hydrometer and some beads. You won't go wrong.

While I will second what Bill says above, I do have a caveat. Now that I've been through the whole, "shoulda bought bigger" phase when I started, and I've gotten rid of everything small I had, I'm wishing I had kept one of my smaller 50-100 count humis for a quick, "smoking now" selection of sticks. Would help with digging through the boxes in the coolers just to pick out a stick I want to smoke.

I own a lovely glass top one, but most of the year, but I find I am battling to keep it at a constant humidity at or above 65% in the winter. You might have the opposite problem.

I was thinking about that...but the thing is, next year i'm leaving to the US, so i prefer having to small humidors to travel with, and not an Avallo on my shoulder. These options go next to the humidor i currently have, which isn't sealing properly and i'm trying to fix it. Maybe I'll save till I get to move to the US and then buy my coolidor.

Saying that, I will have to pick up one of those 3 last deals since are the best deals i've found on the net...

Angry Bill advised plenty of space...Dave mentioned a cooler...that is what I have right now and let me tell you, it works very well! and there is a lot more space than a desktop humidor. You said you had a budget, this would be the best bang for the buck. Here is a site that may help: http://igloodor.com/igloodor-projects/budget-igloodor/

However, if you're set on a nice desk piece tampahumidors is a good place. I have had great experiences with them. And if you're sure you want one of those three, I'd pick door number 2.

If you are trying to save money, just go out and get some tupperware (or something along those lines from a different brand). It's much less expensive and provides an EXCELLENT seal. It will serve your purpose until you move and you won't risk marring the wood or finish on a nice humidor along the way. Save your money for a better humidor once you hit the states.

Even just cheap tupperware inside will allow you to keep them organized inside the cooler. Don't have to go crazy. Or just get some old, empty cigar boxes and use them for organization/storage space.

Can I put the tupperware inside a wine cooler and humidity will stay put? My mom got a huge wine cooler and I'm trying to steal it but she loves that thing..i guess i can start off by "sharing" some space hehe.

OK, so even tho it will cost me the same as a new humidor (or a bit cheaper) I'll make a travel humidor from a Lock&Lock container and an igloodor for large storage. Thanks all for help!
