Funny you should post this and how you spell your name. I lost my closest friend around this time of year almost 20 years ago and his name was Jon and spelled the same way. I dont know what happened to you but I am truly in awe at this post and it is a true reminder of how precious life is.

Ouch! Glad you're ok, man.... Sometimes it takes an incident like this to make you shift your priorities and realize that the things we get bogged down with on a day to day basis really don't mean as much as we make them out to be.

I was at a busy cross walk where I go to school and had the right away. A driver in a mini van not paying attention blaring rap music didnt look like he wasnt going to stop. A lady in her early 20's was in front of me..it looked like she was going to get hit. I pushed her forward and the driver came within inches of striking and killing me.
