Pop and fizzle

I just had a Nica Libre pop and fizzle. Tasted weird too. What was that about?

all I can think about is pop rocks. Man those things rock. Dont know honestly though. Could be a number of things.

I was thinking pop rocks too! I introduced my niece to those today, she loved them.

Never had that happen with a cigar. How did the beetle taste? Chocolaty?

You think its the dreaded beetle? The fizzle part looked almost like a fuse to a firecracker would.

The humi it came from is at 70% humidity, and never above. I often find myself struggling to keep that one from dipping below 65% in the winter. I think its the glass top's seal. Its in the bottom floor on my bar, and the temp this time of year is not even 65 there.

As for how it tasted, I cannot say outside of weird. I was not really focusing on it, but definitely not chocolaty? lol

I had the same thing happen to a Berger & Argenti Entubar last summer, No beetles in my box as of right now.
