The Spragues--a retired couple in Pueblo, Colo.--have better reason than most of us to ponder the old saw, "easy come, easy go." For an exhilarating hour or so last weekend, the Spragues opened up the Sunday paper to discover that they had won more than $4 million in the Colorado Lotto.

There was just one problem: The newspaper had printed the wrong numbers

amen. I was in a store the other day and a 20oz Pepsi was 1.89 the 1L was .99, I joked to a friend "i'm going to sue Pepsi because the pricing scheme makes me buy the larger bottle and its their fault I'm fat" lol please.

They have no lawsuit against the Colorado lottery and good luck with one against the newspaper. But I'm sure some attorney will try his hand.

What are the damages? Temporary relief and then suddenly realizing they are in the same position they were before they read it.

Hopefully they are smart enough to to not pursue a lawsuit and the paper is generous enough to give them a gift card or a years subscription.
