My beautiful wife and I will be setting sail in about a month, heading to Nassau Bahamas, Coco Cay and Key West. It's a short cruise, but we'll be celebrating our 1 year anniversary, and the big 4-0 for me. So, should be a good time.

One night we were looking at things to do at each port of call and my wife suggested we go to Graycliff while in Nassau and maybe roll some cigars. :starrylov I had already checked into it but wasn't she would be into it. But, since she brought it up, we're all over it. :ccowboy:

I'm also going to pick up some Cubans to commemorate the anniversary and birthday. It looks like Havana Humidor at Atlantis is the only Habanos S.A. dealer on the island. I also read that the prices were really high. Anyone been lately? And, any other B&Ms on the island that sell legit Cuban merch?

Also, any recommendations on places to eat, hang out, or "watch scenery"?

First off, congratulations! My wife & I were in Nassau a few years back & we wished we had visited the zoo & Graycliff - stear clear of the straw market - it gets old real quick: lots of people are profesionals at preying on the tourists. I would also recommend only purchasing cigars at Havana Humidor - every other shop has 'cubans', but there are so many fakes (bad ones & good ones) don't waste your island time chasing.

Enjoy your cruise! We can't wait for our next one...!!

Yep, that's what I hear. But, some people are saying the Cohiba's with the glass top box aren't too bad. :nodlaugh:

I live there. It is the last of the smoke friendly places on earth. Pretty much everything outside of Havana Humidor is fake. If you have any specific requests just pm me. D

Was at the Atlantis shop just last month. Great selection, but very expensive. However, that didn't stop me from buying a cigar and sitting on the comfortable leather couch while wife and kids were out on the beach!

Have dinner at Graycliff..... it's worth it.. go early and ask to tour the wine cellar... it is unbelievable. After, sit outside and have a cigar and cognac on the patio.... They used to have cigar shop downstairs affiliated with Habanos SA, but it closed.

Nassau in nice and I got there every year on a cruise. Atlantis is nice and you can spend the day there for a price and Cable Beach is great to just hang out...there is a Sheraton there which is great to stay on the beach. I've done the GrayCliff thing so many times it's not even worth the time...but if it's your first time then go.

Yeah, I've heard that the shop at Atlantis is pricey. But, if I had the only legit cuban shop on the island full of visiting gringos, my prices might be high too. :)

I'm still trying to talk the wife into dinner at Graycliff, we'll see. I think she had another suggestion from a friend that she was wanting to try.
