Easiest way to is to take charity recommendations (as Pete has already stated) and then post a poll for club members to vote between a selection of them (say, top 10).
Then divide all the total of charity portion of membership by their poll percentages. Pretty easy solution and makes itallushrt's issue naught.

I agree with you. If there is the chance then it is your decision what you end up doing. Trust me, I wasn't trying to be a douchebag about it. Its your choice and I respect your views and values.
I'd just as soon give all the charity money to the CRA...

Neither am I. Don't worry about it Pete. Its your project, do what you want and either people are on board or they aren't. You already know that no matter what you do you can't make everyone happy.

That's funny... The way I see it, our money is going to Tatuaje, for cigars, swag, club benefits, access to info, etc. The very fact that Pete has decided to take a portion of these funds, and donate them to charities (and not even necessarily only charities of his choosing it sounds like) is irrelevant (but in my opinion, a great decision...). There is no rule, to my knowledge, stating that a private company, or individual has to make public who or what they make donations to...
Itallushrt, you aren't making the donations. You're paying for club membership and benefits. Pete is taking money, that has become HIS money, or money belonging to his company, and making donations... not in your name, but in his, or Tatuaje's name.

Uhh, no shit. That is why I'm asking questions about a bulletin on the email sent out to entice folks to join.
I don't care if the donations are going out in Jesus, Mohammad or Buddhas name. If part of joining this "club" means a portion of my money is going to an organization I don't agree with it means that I'm helping support them. No matter how many t-shirts or LE sticks I might have the opportunity to spend more money on. You might be ok with that, but I'm not.
I don't think thats it. I was the first to give the guy a hard time...but if he's worried about the donations being to a charity that doesn't support his values then that is his choice. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything yet until he knows where the money is going. :dunno: I can't speak for him and I wont attempt to but its not like any of us have to sign up on May 1. After Pete makes it known which charities he decides to toss some $$ to maybe his opinion will change and he'll jump on board.
I can speak for myself though and I will be doing the club. I really have only smoked a few Tats and at the moment have 1 in my humi that was gifted to me. I'm anxious to see what arrives on my doorstep after this gets rollin.
