I just picked one of these up from my local B&M and I was wondering if anyone has tried this stick?

Heard mixed things, but I think Serie N day was a success, and despite losing Ernesto P. I think General has done a good job of keeping LGC in that "as boutique styled as a General Cigar brand is gonna get" niche.

You know...I really, really want to like these sticks...but I don't! I don't get why these sticks are so popular...but that's just me.

I was a big fan of the Serie R, and decided to try the N when gifted one by General Cigar. Did I enjoy the experience? Sure. Is it something I would seek out and stick out in my mind as a great smoke? Not by any means.

I've smoked 4 - 5 of these.

First I don't mind it, but I'll reach for the R every time over it.

I think the problem I see with them is they're not aged very well. I had one that burnt so bad that CraigMac spotted me another one. I think he was in pain watching me smoke it.

It's not a very complex smoke although fairly consistent start to finish. I'll pick up some more but I'll let them sit and age for 5-6 months to make sure everything is evened out and even hold them longer before really deciding if they're worth it.

I agree with that Nico, having liked the series R I was looking forward to trying a Nicaraguan counterpart. I really expected more from it after trying it. I wouldn't say it was bad at all though, just seemed a little lacking. Will I smoke more of them, yes. Would I buy a box, probably not.
