i ran across this article and thought it may be good food for thought. i really hope this does not upset anybody, but i've seen lots of threads lately that have gone south and turn into silly bickering... over some brand or another (wheather it's tats, habanos, viaje, or whatever). anyhow i thought this was applicable and maybe we should all just get along. :starrylov

Just read an article today that Apple has been keeping information on everybody that uses one of their devices that is connected via cell or wireless. There is a file that gathers information concerning your location, wireless networks used, etc. and is all stored on your phone and backed up to the Apple servers.

Not so much related to this specific article, but Apple related.

I think there is a notable difference between trivial characteristics and identifiable preferences. If you've smoke 100 cigars... 50 Tatuaje and 50 Viaje... and you liked one of the sets of 50 but not the other, you aren't necessarily sorting yourself into a group - rather your future actions (discussion, reading, purchasing) will be driven by that preference.

Not saying the article is inaccurate, rather I think it is important to be self aware of what your real preferences are... and blind tastings (when it comes to wine, whisky, cigars, etc.) is one of the best ways to check yourself on what you view as your preferences.

My $0.02.

Thanks for the article - good read.

PS Apple sucks. ...kidding, kidding...

for sure, that goes without saying... i will have my preferences and you yours, its only natural. it's the frenzy and fanaticism that i think is problematic and divisive.

Ahhh...That's what makes us all different and unique. Buy what you like, try what you like, live like you like, and give what you like.
The power of influence is in us all...It feeds the brain and fuels the consciousness.
