Whether or not I have nothing to hide, doesn't mean I want my life (where I go, what I do, who I talk to, etc) known by more than just me and those I choose to include in my life. It's not for big brother to know, IMO

Cell phone triangulation and the ise of Cell towers and where the call was placed, yes. That works on all phones

using a confiscated Iphone to get a map of exactly where you were and for how long? Not sure I've heard of that.

Y'all do know you can turn that feature off on your phone, right?
Just go to settings>location services and switch to off.

That just turns off all of the location services, i.e. GPS. Which means you can't use anything having to do with GPS. Kind of defeats the purpose of having GPS in your phone doesn't it?

The point I am making is: who cares if a bunch of nerds at AT&T know where my phone has been? Unless I have just committed a crime, I have nothing to worry about.

Same goes for the surveillance cameras that are just about everywhere these days...Not a concern of mine. Let them grab the license plates and catch the criminals....Makes the lives of law enforcement easier and less costly.

Our government is extremely powerful...If they want to, they'll listen to your land line calls, follow you around via your GPS phone, etc. BUT, they'll do this if they have reason to believe that you are up to no good.

So again....What's the problem? If you're up to no good, then there's a bigger problem!
