What does one call the tubes that the beads can be kept in? I've tried searching for perforated plastic tubing, and I come up with nothing besides links to Heartfelt Industries.

Dumb question, but what's wrong with Heartfelt Industries? :dunno:

If you are looking for a cheap alternative, hit up your local pet store in the fish aisle for the little mesh bags.

No, no, I'm not looking to buy somewhere else. I get my stuff from David, and I've referred a handful of friends. I was having a conversation with someone about the beads and somehow the topic of the tubes came up. We couldn't think of what they are called and what they were manufactured for originally. A local B&M carries them with sponges inside.

Why is it that we can put a man on the moon (Okay, I sound like my Dad...) but there is only 65% beads and 70% beads with NO middle ground??!!

Okay.. I don't have any loose beads, but is it possible to mix them, end up with 67.5? that sounds like a sweet spot to me!

Answered on the other threads on the 67% question, yes they exist. Mixing does not work well as the beads fight themselves instead of playing nice and agreeing on a compromise (think our current political scene). Not sure what the tubes are used for other than beads...

Nice thing w/ it is you can vary your size, go for the biggest coverage size w/ the beads still not falling out - this way you maximize your surface area. Time to break out the beads and calipers and take an average sample size and make sure you get the right sized ones.

If you ask my boss, it's simple.. We didn't put a man on the moon. It was all a hoax in a studio........ Yea, I know. And she is my boss.

This might be just as dumb, but why are the tubes better than the bags?
