I'm not sure about that. The Heartfelt beads are designed to hold their set point, that's kind of the point with them.I believe you can change any beads, but not sure how.
Doesn't humid air rise? Wouldn't it make more sense to reverse that, with the higher humidity on the bottom?FWIW, I have 65% HF beads in the bottom of my humi, and 70% in the top. RH sits around 66-68%.

Shilala = HCM right?I have Shilala beads and mine have been keeping a very constant 67% for 3 or 4 months now since the last time I messed with them.
