Hmm... I'm trying my first SC today (Oficios). Hopefully if I like it I'll be able to snag some before they are gone. (event though they'll probably be available for a few more years)

I got a fiver of Oficios from 2007 a few months ago and loved each and every one of them.

The whole time smoking the 4 year old oficio I was getting blasted with massive amounts of what I can only describe as chocolate.

Have an untouched box of the Oficios resting. Based on Fitze's description, I may have to break into them. For whatever reason I've never gotten into the SC line, though I did smoke through a box of el principes that I really enjoyed.

I really enjoyed the first 2/3s of an 07 oficios I had a few weeks ago. It had a really unique peach flavor on top of the more usual flavors of earth, leather, tea . . .

Nothing I will miss.
Same here. Never liked the Oficios. Some like it, but it bores me. Had a Original Release Muralla gifted by agreat botl that didnt wow me either.

I do like the Punta. The Principes have been hit and miss dont like them fresh.

Wouldn't you like to know?
Thought this was old news? The article doesn't really even touch on the facts that they are refreshing all of the LCDH cigars. The article implys that they are being cancelled do to poor sales but these were cancelled with the gold medal which was by my best guess a great seller. I have not heard it said anywhere but - think that they are putting the LCDH cigars onto a limited life span as they aren't intended to be reg production cigars.

I have a box of the EPs that are great and a box of Mercaderes that I could definitely do without taking up space in my humi.

El Principes from '01 are smoking superbly. When the three LCDH vitolas came out I had one of each and found them to be very nice and I thought they might age well if you cared to take a shot.

I wish Habanos would focus on more thin-gauge sticks; can you imagine a '12 Punch Ninfa or RG Slenderella?
