So I got my New Humidor from FireDoc (thanks bro) and it is great. Seal is perfect and it's just what I need (more than I have according to tips hehehe). It is my second humidor, since the other one didnt have the seal quite well (Fixing that so I can use it to age and this one for show and "to-go humi")

Here it is:

It was pre-seasoned but because of shipping I wanted to see what humidity it had. So I put my Caliber III inside and read 50% and started to drop to 40%. So now I have it with 3 water pillow packets to see how much it goes up...I'm still waiting my HCMBeads to control humidity. Sadly my Oustfan doesn't fit inside the humi :(

Any tips guys?

I've seen other guys mod their fans to fit, but with the size of your humidor the beads should be ok. I use a similar humi for our infused (flavored) cigars and from the top to the bottom (I have 2 hydrometers in there) there is about a 2% difference between them - 70% on the bottom and 68% on the top and this may be due to calibration so you should be good with the beads.

Cool. Make sure you post pics once stocked.
Will do ;)

Hmm, I'll try to see the difference between the bottom and top :D

UPDATE:

So guys, I received my beads but i'm huge issues trying to keep humidity stable with the HCMBeads. I know they work great cuz some of my friends use it (they live in the US) but they are having a hard job in my country.

Here's the thing: My temps are usually between 24c and 27c or 75f-80f. Regular Humidity is crazy...from 70% to 85%. My room it's kinda stable between 70 and 80% lol...So, beads were suppose to be pre-conditioned to 65%. They were working at 72% according to both of my hygros (calibrated of course, but thats another issue lol), inside my Lock&Lock container. I put them in the freezer for 24 min, like the instructions said, and it dropped to 66% for like 2 hours and then went up again to 71%. The website says we should wait "days, weeks and even a month" to let them get to work...but they are suppose to be faster than HFbeads, right? Why so long? I'm confused.

EDITED: I'm trying what Michael told me, about putting it in the fridge, instead of freezer. I'll let you guys know.
