Agreed. I had one last weekend and at was epic! Wonderful earth tones that rivaled the Trinidad Robusto T that I had the night before.

I had one last week and I think it had great flavor. My only bitch is the burn still sucks. I had to constantly touch up. Yea it was a pain in the ass but I still enjoyed the cigar.

dan at newhavanacigars was giving three packs of these without tubes together with selected box purchases. try shooting him an email. smoking one now and they are delicious. sweet tang reminiscent of cc's but with a distinct flavor profile all its own. a very slight acrid finish tells me these may still improve with more age. this one wasn't even rested outside the tube.

Fired up a Tat black tubo tonite. Very disappointed, no flavor at all! Don't know what happened. Hopefully, its a freak stick cus I have 2 boxes of these. Smoked one a couple of weeks ago and it was great, this one was a dud.

Any experience with this??

Duds, check. Not typical with Tats, but more typical than normal with the Tubos. Though I've only had one Black Tubo dud, I had several Red Tubo duds, which is just one of the reasons I think the Red Tubos were probably the biggest My Father factory screw-up ever.

I picked a couple up when they came out and let 'em rest outside the tubes. Smoked them both a few weeks ago and LOVED 'em. If I wasn't already up to my eyeballs in new things to try I'd be looking to pick more up.

I let these rest outside the tubo also. Loved all the other ones I smoked, thats why I bought another box. Going to have to smoke another one soon.

I'm finishing this one just cus I feel like I owe it to the stick.

These are very under the radar. Once they were out of the tubes and rested for a while they turned into great smokes.
