Isn't it kind of misleading for BO to say that no Americans were killed in the operation? How many soldiers have given their lives over there since 2001?

Just because no one died in that particular mission shouldn't diminish the sacrifice of so many thousands of others who perished in pursuit of the same goal.

In his statement the president did say that we shouldn't forget those who have given their lives in pursuit of Osama Bin Laden. Think he specificaly mentioned the mission because now being reported that we did lose on helicopter in the mission.
