No this isn't a history question. I just received an order from Famous. The box was wrapped the usual way with the usual Famous bar code sticker on it. Everything I have gotten from them had a date on that sticker and it has always been pretty recent, which I thought was their packing date. Today I got something dated from '09. So is this the date Famous received the item and it's been their ever since?

Well I just called them. It is indeed the date they received the item from the manufacture. Awesome. I just got some old Joya Antano 1970's!

Figured that's what it was...congrats . You should post a review on them, be interested to hear how they're smoking after sitting for a few years.

Now you guys have me very interested. Since they came were in the factor sealed box, do they need to rest to become acclimated to my lower RH you think?

I usually let anything that's been shipped rest a bit. The temp/humidity changes from being shipped can sometimes upset things.
