Para Japon Update

When they first announced this cigar I was excited to order a box to support the folks impacted by the tragedy. Now I sit here today somewhat miffed by the fact that the sticks started shipping today and after signing up and waiting for a response, I have not heard one peep from these folks.

So brothers, what about you? Any of you hear anything?

From the reviews I have read, it's not a bad stick ROTT.

Inquiring minds want to know.

I just got your PM. Thanks for sending it. I am not that close to the shipment/sales portion of this project. I was mostly responsible for design elements. You are correct that they are now shipping. Your best bet is to email Jason Wood with Miami cigars your questions because he is the guy in charge of this. I will PM you his email because, even though I don't think he would care, I don't want to put it in a public forum.

Feel free to mention in the email that I referred you to him if you want.

I got an email last week saying they wanted payment info and would ship on Monday (2 days ago). I replied right away with my credit card info, but did not get a shipping notice/tracking number on Monday. I hope they show up this week. Actually, I had forgotten all about it until I read this post!

I had one yesturday. Pretty good, but a little different from your typical La Aurora.

I got a box purchased myself. But haven't heard anything from my shop as to when they will be sent out.

Just finished a Para Japon Sumo -- the Robusto size, 5x50. Aside from it being for a good cause, this cigar is great. Since I didn't sleep much the night before, the stick may feel more full-bodied and stronger to me than usual, but nonetheless, it is a great smoke. Lots of flavor and pretty slow burning. It was 10.99 a stick -- bought three of em -- but well worth it.
