saw that. the whole kid rock look doesn't work for me. there's only one kid.
Yeah, I thought much the same from the early Cain promo stuff. Damn Madison Avenue.

Like I'm sure a lot of BotL's have, I met him when he was promo'ing the Cain F release. Came out to join me and a buddy at our table to take a break from the crowd and seemed like a perfectly reasonable/approachable fella.

Wouldn't be surprised if most that met him would agree.

Yeah, he hooked me early with the 5-pack samplers of the unbanded Cain F's when the regular line was initially released. Could pick 'em up here for $25 a box, and sweet god they were good.

I picked up a box of Daytonas in the corona size when the Studio Tobac crew stopped through town, and have quite enjoyed those as well, though I don't know how much he would have had to do with their blend/production given the timing of his departure.

And I never was a fan of the Nubs.

I like the NUB cigars... great flavor and an excellent golf course stick.

That said... I'm not too sure about the modified Prince symbol and the overly and overtly staged photos... I can only handle so many gimmicky cigar companies...

Is there anything other than a baseball bat sized stick offered by "Same Leccia ? I don't know about anyone else, but I am not searching out a stick that I need an accetylene torch to light. Too big, probably too strong...

I really enoy the Nub's and a few in the Cain line with the daytona (not sure if he even had a hand in this one) being my favorite. I will definately seek out a few of these when they come out but i do have to agree the sizes suck.

Anyone here smoke "opinions"?

Anyone here smoke "fashion"?

What the %$#@ are we discussing here? Cigars? Or personally biased opinions that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the thread?

Count me as one who met, liked and admire the man. Not a big fan of his lines, but that's no indictment. Just don't match my current profiles. I think he's a bit of a showman, but carries it off very well. He brought a certain style and flash to Oliva that seems to have been a positive infusion. I see Sam as a young Jon Huber....I am very interested in seeing what both he and Jon's Crowned Heads come out with.

Typical press release with typical puffery. Feel the same way after reading that as I do reading most of the crap in CA. No interest. That being said if the cigars are good I'll smoke them if they aren't I won't.
