I thought this cigar was way to young when it first came out but had great potential. Today I revisited (after I chopped of the shaggy foot).

I think this one has greatly improved. It's a flavorful woody creamy stick. I'm glad I bought a few to age.

I smoked one each of the robusto and the torp a month or two back and really enjoyed them. For the torp I cut most of the foot off. If you leave a little bit on you can really get a sense of the filler flavor vs. wrapper and binder.

I was going to burn one tonight also, but time got away from me. I settled on a camacho slr rob . Don't ask me what the hell i was thinking. I guess i wanted somerhing with a red band. Should have gone to a vorocu or a nobles. Well made cigar, just uneventful. The maduro in this line is much better. It has a conn broadleaf maduro instead of a habano. Go figure.

Is this the same blend as the WLP Candela?
There have been two WLP releases thus far:

WLP OR (based on Summerfest blend)
WLP Candela

I've had love for these for the past 4-6 months; they've been smoking very well. Very enjoyable.

I had the robusto about 2 months ago and was far from impressed, many Viajes seem like they ship a bit early to me. The 50/50 line I feel puts 90% of the Viaje LE's to shame yet there is next to no hype behind them. Ive never had a 50/50 that tasted green.

Weird, I'm pretty much a Viaje-only smoker at this point, and I keep trying to find love for the Fifty | Fifty, but it's not there for me. I enjoy VPR, Samurai, and Exclusivo any day over it.

Safe to say the new WLP is based on the 50/50 blend then? The red label really wow'd me, I was impressed from the first puff to the nub.

Everyones tastes are different, its part of what makes this hobby so intruiging. Ive had the summerfest, WLP candella, Exclusivo short, S&B red, platino, oro, and one other one I cant remember and the red label 50/50 has just been hands down the best to me.

I wasn't at all impressed when I first got my summerfests, but like others have said, it is smoking really good right now.
50/50s are great cigars too....I think one of Viajes best. But nothing (in my book) beats the exclusivo, in any vitola, the OG, robo, or DES. I can def. see why its (as advertised), Andre's personal blend.

I really like the Satoris, Exclusivos, MOAB/WMD, and Reservas, with the Satoris being my favorites so far. I hated the WLP, WLP Candela, and Summerfest. The TNT are pretty darn good. I haven't been much impressed with the regular line stuff, but it isn't bad either.

Yeah I had a black w week of so back that was fantastic, I really gotta get more. Havent tried the reds yet.

I also have 4 Summerfests resting right now, Ive already had 2. I had the first when I got them probably a month ago and the second last week. Both were good, but the one from last week was better for sure.

Any of you guys have Viaje Cigars you don't care for I would be willing to trade for them. I like them all and depending what you might have I am willing to trade some really good sticks.

I fired up a Summerfest this weekend and I loved it.
