Hey guys,

After hearing about the devastation that Dan and his family have gone through/are going through, I decided to put together a couple of auctions, will all proceeds going directly to him.

First auction I set up is a 30 stick sampler that I'm waiting to be approved on here. After talking to my wife about things this morning and showing her the news, she too wanted to help and offered her favorite Coach purse that I had bought for her as a Valentine's Day gift in 2009. This thing is literally in 'like new' condition as she has always babied it, treated the leather and suede and only used this one for special occassions. I purchased this new, for around $340 or so. Can't remember the exact cost, but know I'm damn close.

Since you can only post 1 auction at a time on here, I figured the cigars would be better than the purse and did want to do it all as one on here.

Please post in here if you bid, as I'll refund you the shipping cost and also add a great 5'er for you. This would make a great gift for your wife, daughter, girlfriend on the side, whatever.

Good luck and happy bidding. Hoping to have great success with both auctions, as I know it'll be greatly appreciated by our friend and his family.

(if linky doesn't work, it's item # 110691833298 )

Your friend and brother,

Nice gesture on both your parts bro. I too have an auction pending approval so hopefully we can help Dan out in the way that BOTL has and does so many times before.

edit - 1st bidder on ebay to get it going

Sorry, only shipping to the US.......HAHAHAHA, j/k :) Will ship to any BOTL/SOTL, anywhere. CONUS to any regular bidder, though...which is another reason why I'd like you to post in here if you bid.

Oh man, bad timing. I would love to help out Dan, but right now my family is helping out one of my friends with his wife and two kids that lost their house this week in the fires in Slave Lake. Wild-fires destroyed hundreds of homes in the town, his was one of them. They have no where to live right now, other than our house, and we have given them all our kids clothes that fit as our kids are very close in age. The shitty thing is that the place he worked at burnt to the ground as well, so he will be in need of some help for a bit.
Things are deffinitely not cool up here either, but everyone around here is grouping together as well. I just can't imagine having 2 kids and your lively-hood burns to the ground.
I really don't mean to hijack the tread

That is so incredibly tragic to hear, brother. Good on you for opening your home and possessions to them. Not surprised to hear a BOTL doing that one bit.

Nice going Jeff. Shows this auction ended and the purse made $50 for Dan's cause. Way to step up! Between the two auctions, thats $475 to help Dan and his family.

Actually, I had forgotten to put a reserve on it and couldn't change that since Brent (BDC30) already bid $50. So, I used him as my reserve and wasn't going to sell it for less than $200. Couldn't stomach getting anything less than that, for what I spent on it.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO, seeing as it only reached $50 and I'm not relisting it, the purse was sent to MO as a gift for Dans wife. I hope she'll enjoy the hell out of it and would much rather do it this way, then to just send $50.
