It's cool, but it's not a cigar to me. No matter how pretty, a cigar is meant to be smoked. How would you ever smoke one of these? It's value is in its "beauty", no? And is there any more information on how it is "all tobacco, no ink"?

Certainly cool and interesting.

I am sure it's just tobacco cut out and glued on the cigar, which looks nice until you light the cigar and it starts peeling up

It is indeed cutouts of different shades of tobacco glued onto a finished cigar. They aren't meant to be smoked just admired as cigar art.

How are you suppose to take something like that and light it on fire?
I would suggest you go old school and use matches, but I'm sure a lighter would work fine . But seriously, those are nice...almost too nice. I imagine they're not rolled with the focus being on flavor so yeah they probably won't smoke very well and are best kept as nice display pieces :dunno:.

I'm curious about the "Secret Weapon" who rolled them. Are we to guess this secret weapon is one of the rollers of his new line?

I've heard like 3 different interviews with Sam, recently. I'm rather anxious to try his new endeavor. Curious about something though (I guess this may belong more in the thread about his new launch)... it usually takes a few years from brain to consumer on making a cigar. Was this something already in progress while he was still working with Oliva? Or, is it kind of picking up something that was already created? He said closer to time, he can reveal who he's working with on the line. I'm sure Charlie already knows :) , but I'm just curious.

I listened to his interview on DWCR, very interesting. The story on how his website photo shoot went was pretty cool story. Looking forward to his Debut coming out.

Smokable or not, they are the coolest looking cigars I've seen...from an art perspective.

How do I answer this...

This was not part of a long-term plan from everything I know. I think everyone is a bit taken back by how quick things are going, perhaps even to the point of concern.
