Hey guys, and gals
From all the topics about new sticks both CC and NC, I can't help but wonder where is this going to? I know that producers need to hype their products and keep coming with new ideas and exciting names with all different promises of higher levels of this or that, but to what end?
I feel that cigar producers are treating this business as if it's a tv show that has to satisfy this demographic or market share and forgot that, at least to me, it's a relaxing hobby and not a race.
Sorry about the rant, just felt overwhelmed.

It's pretty much been covered. This is a business for the producers. They need to move product and new hyped up products is a good way for them to generate buzz. Obviously there is a market out there that really craves new stuff all of the time, so for them it makes sense. If that's not your thing, just ignore all the new product hype, stick with what you like and relax.

This can pretty much be applied to everything non-technology related. Some things just don't need constant improvement.

Razors: is it just me or since the Safety Razor have they just been stepping backwards? Gel strips? You kidding me? And these 4 blade POSs give an awful shave

Golf Clubs: Do you really need this years model? Did swinging a club become more advanced than it was last year? If you're Tiger Woods maybe you can benefit from that .5% difference in club trajectory, but otherwise you're just wasting your money

Running Shoes: Now there are shoes with tiny rubber balls on the bottom. Seriously?

That's just what immediately comes to mind but there are hundreds of examples

This HAS been my biggest bitch lately! I'm really sick of the LE crap. 99% of it sucks, Retailors are taking advantage of your hard earned money and ruining the good name of some cigar makers, And it's creating alot of tension between a civil place like BOTL.
I have not bought one single LE stick lately. Unless I know what the blend is made from and enjoy it...it's just not worth the gamble or the headache.
