I just tried a Chiquito from the box and was not impressed. Anyone else try these yet? These are going to the back of the humi for a few months to get some rest.

Im letting my Chiquitos sit for a bit.

I have some of the WLP reds on the way from NHC, may actaully be at my doorstep as we speak. If theyre as good as I expect them to be I will probably head to my B&M for at least another 5ver. We will see.

I also have 2, :( only 2, Zombies screaming at me from the humi, dont know when Ill smoke them, I want them to be their very best though when I do. I want more lol.

Yes, they are that good. I don't usually go crazy for Viaje but these last batches have been KILLER, ENJOY!!!!

The WLP 50/50 Red I had last Saturday while golfing and it was one of those moments, nirvana....

Just checked the tracking number, they are indeed waiting for me at home. So I will see tonight or should I let them stabalize. How do sticks generally smoke right from NHC? I know some other places ship their stuff a little wet, dont know about them since they are higher end.

I got a fiver from NHC on Saturday morning in the mail and fired one up at 1-2pm and that thing burned like a champ till the very nub!

Hello my new friends,

I am new to the forum or any forum for that matter so excuse any etiquette errors. I fell in love with cigars almost two years ago. Since then I have been on a journey tasting all different brands of sticks. I have found a fondness of Fuente Short Story and just about anything Viaje puts out. So I was very excited when I saw that Viaje was putting out the Chiquito exclusivos, only to find out that they have been out for a short while and now seem to have disappeared. Can anyone help me track down some of these sticks? If that proves to be impossible than any advise on the secret to getting a hold of future limited release items would be appreciated.

Hope this wasn't too long for my first post.

Luke, welcome to the layer cake. The best way that I've found to follow Viaje is to follow Andre Farkas on FB and to follow Brooks' blog (smokingstogie.com). It's not been a perfect art, as I missed the Chiquitos (Tower sold out the first day while Cigarette City apparently still has some because they don't ship), but did catch the WLP reds.

Usually, they are only HTF AFTER they sell out :)

For example, the M80s have been on sale for 5 days now, all anyone had to do was call and order a box...

Viaje spreads their sticks around (for the most part, they do a few single store Exclusives, but not many), so each store only gets a few boxes/bundles when something is released...best bet is to find a huge store with a huge Viaje/Tatuaje account and call them up, and put your name on the list the second you hear of something coming out...It won't always work, but most of the time it should...

Best stores for Viaje/Tatuaje are Tower Cigars, Empire Cigars, NHC and Tobacco Grove (although there are others, of course)...

I will be sure to follow the advise, thanks. Any word on the TNT release, I do not want to miss out on those.
