Hello. Sorry if there is a topic started like this already. Im on my phone and can't search worth anything.

Im new to cigars, been about a month. I have tried a few drew estate infused cigars. Tried a illusione ~68~ the other day. Have the cigar.com house blend sampler and pepin sampler coming.

So as to what what im looking for in a cigar I don't know yet, trying to try as many as I can to see what I like and what I don't.

So what are your every newbie should try cigar suggestions?

No more infused cigars for one. lol

Just about anything arturo fuente, diesels, brick house, nub, oliva serie o/g/v. Padron 2/3/4/5 thousand, tatuaje. The list could go on.

It's nice to see other rooted android users, just by the way.

Pretty much what you're doing is correct...spark up anything and everything you can get your hands on. Some of my favs that I would recommend would be Padron x000 Maduro or Natural, Casa Magna Colorado, Tatuaje (either the Red or Brown Label, but I hear the new White Labels are good too). You mentioned you have a Pepin sampler coming, but not what's in it...like me some DPG Blue and Black Labels and you'll probably get some in your sampler. Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro is also a cigar I enjoyed a lot when first really getting into cigars and still enjoy it, though I have moved on to other things. I see you haven't gotten any Trader Ratings so you may check out this thread...

If you sign up and let whoever gets you know that you are just wanting to try some stuff, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to give you a tobacco tour .

Get in on the newbie sampler, keep looking for affordable sampler packs to try out and keep an eye on the Cigar Deals thread. There will be plenty of deals that are probably out of the bounds of what you want to be spending right now, but when there is something posted that fits your wallet, you have a better than even chance of them being better sticks. As has already been said, just keep trying different things. Welcome to the madness.

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Remember to take notes on what you do or don't like. It'll help you pick things to try later.

For myself, I started out with a lot of Perdomo sample packs. The are a decent place to start out and by sticking with one brand, to an extent, allowed me to not get overwhelmed with options. I would grab all the sample packs I could find that were on sale then pay attention to how each cigar smoked. I like the start small, then branch out approach. Otherwise there are so many options it's like taking samples through a candy store. Sure you got to try lots, but when it's all over you can't remember what you tried!

Take this advice! When I first started out I scoffed at the idea of taking notes, and now I remember some great smokes but have no idea what they were, so I can't go back and revisit them. :closedmou
