Is it the size or the line?
I haven't had all the sizes. I can tell you that I had one @ Casa Fuente in Vegas. Paid way too much for it, but it's one of those things you have to do while you're there. The girl in the Humi told me it's a common problem with the line. She continued to keep cutting my cigar down to try and loosen up the draw. Big waste of $20+ bucks. You would of thought that they would of traded it out but it was not an option.

Speaking of padilla, anyone know anything about the 1948 EL? 20 for $40.

Based on past offerings, I'm guessing it's the 1948 with a maduro wrapper, and a CI exclusive (many CI exclusives are good, btw, and I'm pretty sure that they are actually the US distributor for Padilla ... so we're not talking an uber-cheap bundled smoke with a nice band, I'm sure it's the real deal.)

With some age, the regular 1948 is a good medium stick (the '68 is fuller in body, the '32 fuller yet). Not sure what a maduro wrapper would do to the blend.

IMHO, my $2 is better spent on Leon Jimenes 300 Series Coronas.
Thank you for this. The LJ 300 was one of my first "wow" smokes when I went from occasional smoker to full-blown aficionado. I especially liked it in smaller ring gauges, so this is perfect.
