I love this wrapper. It leaves what I would call a "buttery" taste on your lips. Years ago, I started out digging the CAO Criollo, and for old times sake I still break one out now and then.

Lately I'm loving the Cruzado, and I just ordered a box of the Xikar HC Criollos based on the name alone.

Any others that are a must try?

The Perdomo is the one that started me on my Criollo kick. I need to revisit it soon. I think I'm gonna have to try the Kristoff too. Sorry I can't help any more than what's already been said.

Trying to think if I have ever had a Criollo wrapped cigar...I don't recall. I think I may have to fix that. What would you recommend Bruce? The Xikar? Cruzado?

Consider it fixed Todd... :timebomb:
LOL. Cool! Ya know you could have just made some recommendations!

Alas, I know that's not how you roll! :pimp2:

Thanks Bruce, I'm looking forward to trying them out. It appears I've been seriously remiss in my cigar education...:scratchhe

Holy Criollo bombs Batman!

Check what ingenios hit me with:

Joya De Nicaragua Antano Consul
Cruzado Marelas Perfecto
(2) Xikar HC Series Criollo Robusto
Tatuaje Seleccion de Cazador (brown) Petite Tatuaje
and a nice Bolivar Belicosos Finos to round it off!

Lots of choices to get my Criollo fix! Looking forward to it.

Bruce, you are a brother of the highest order!

Thanks!

Enjoy Todd...

The BBF is from the same month that just scored a 92 in cA, FWIW. I've only had one from the box and it was good, as is most '10 stuff, it seems.

I figured you need a tagalong NC and CC so you can write copious notes on the subtle differences in mouth-feel, tooth, shade variations... ah hell just bite off the end and light up.:smokingco

Edit, I just noticed that my Trader rating is no longer a goose egg. Gracias.

I like the Xikar myself. Xikar is a club sponsor for the kccigar.com club and the Christmas party in 2009, they handed out a Xikar sampler pack to all members. I didn't give it much thought. But when I eventually lit one up, wow. I ended up smoking through the entire sampler that day. I kept trying to find something offensive or off or not constructed well, but they smoked perfect. I've been a fan ever since. I've even sent a few sampler of them out, one even to Belgium.
