Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Don't give up so easy! There are solutions! Perhaps a solar panel of some sort? I would assume that if your trunk and coolidor are sufficiently insulated and you don't live in a climate where it regularly gets over 100 degrees, the temp in the trunkador shouldn't rise to unsafe levels...And just like that you guys have killed the trunkador dream.

just remember what zig zigler says, "if you can Dream it, you can Achieve it" may take a feat of enginering but you'll be the envy of cigar smokers everywhere. And just like that you guys have killed the trunkador dream.

Jackpot!!so is this just the idea and thinking it would be cool. i dont see the point in it when you can just get a 30-50-80 ct. travel humidor....
Maybe... but to install a gyro in a trunk?
Even if you did, a gyro doesn't protect you from the impulse of a "bump from below", which I'd expect to be the most common sorta inertial shift you're gonna see in a vehicle, save turning.Maybe... but to install a gyro in a trunk?
some AMG Mercedes have solar panels on the roof, and that energy is used to extract hot air from the car while it is off. Really great feature. something of the sort can be worked out for cigars.Don't give up so easy! There are solutions! Perhaps a solar panel of some sort?
