DPG Black Label - How compare to CI Legends Yellow?

My daily smoke is the Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic Black Label.

I was thinking of trying a box of the CI Legends yellow label by DPG to save a few bucks. I have seen mostly favorable and a few unfavorable reviews. Does anyone here who likes the Black labels care to compare the two?

It's been a while but if my memory serves me right the Yellow's are a little milder with slightly more complexity but not quite as full flavored. Kind of a grassy/leathery sweetness as opposed to the woody/spicy sweetness of the Black's. I would stick with the Blacks, check cigarauctioneer for good deals on these.

Thanks - after much pondering, I decided to pick up a box for $50 off of cigarbid. If I don't care for them I'll keep them on hand for the moochers.

Yes very different profile than the Black, but a good stick all the same!

As a follow up, I got a box and am pretty pleased with them. Different profile for sure, but they are still Pepins and a very nice smoke - especially for the price.

I'll be picking up another box or two for sure.
