Seriously, the netflix in and of itself could be a deal breaker. We are netflix junkies, stream to TV through the Wii, stream through laptop(on deck while smoking cigars!) and on my ipod touch.

That must be why all those android phone come preinstalled with Blockbuster.

This is getting harder then I thought (about 10 minutes ago I had phone in hand to call verizon and order a htc thunderbold, second guessing now)

grrrr
To me that just pretty much simplifies your choice... iPhone it is. And being an iPod touch user you're already familiar with the interface for the most part not that it's difficult. Also other than Apple's control of the app store you really can't beat it for selection. The Android store may equal it but it doesn't beat it.

I hope all this doesn't make me sound like an Apple fanboy cuz I'm far from it. I am an IT professional who wouldn't even have considered owning an apple until they went to an Intel platform and even now I can't bring myself to buy one :headroll:

********UPDATE*******

I ended up getting my wife a Droid X.

With a two year contract extension the phone was 150 and with my new every two i got 50 off. Additionally, they gave me one month free service which equals 85 so I got the phone for $15.

I like that the X has HDMI output, expandable memory, DNLA compatable, HD video, 8Mp camera. Plus Andriod just released a OS update, I;ve heard its running smoother. I also confirmed it will play Netflix.

We are looking forward to getting gizmo to play with, will let you''all know how that experience is.

Thanks all for the advice
