My new Vinodor setup

I had been watching Craigslist for a bit trying to find a couple Vinotemps cheap and was finally
able to do so. I got lucky and scored a 'New in box but opened for inspection' 16 bottle for $50
and a used 28 bottle for a $100... all in all I'm pleased. I contacted Forrest (GolfNut) about
drawers and shelves and ended up ordering from him. I ordered 4 drawers w/ lacewood fronts
for the 16 bottle for my singles storage and ordered 3 shelves for the 28 bottle for box storage.

Fast forward about 3 weeks from ordering and I have my stuff... I could NOT be happier. Thank
you Forrest for a very nice product and in a very timely manner. I'm a happy camper!!!

In the 16 bottle singles vino I am using an 8oz. tube of Heartfelt beads (2lb total) and in the 28
bottle box vino I am using 2lbs of HCM beads. These combinations should keep me at a pretty
solid 65%. I keep them in the basement so I don't actually have to plug in the coolers.

Love the 16 bottle. I'm doing 3 drawers and a shelf in a 16 bottle cuisinart. Probably 3 weeks out.

Right now it has about 225... I figure it would hold another 100 - 150. Probably not that many if you smoke bigger ring guage smokes. I mostly have 50s or less.

Same setup (one vino28 for boxes one vino 28 for double drawers)! Its the way to go IMO congrats bro!

I would think you'd need more than 8oz of beads in your 16ct though, as it has to be about 2 1/2 sq ft...which would require a pound if I remember correctly. Throw another 8oz tube on your top shelf and I'd think you'd have enough. I could be all wet since I tend to lean more toward the "more is better" philosophy.

You would be correct sir... that's why there is one 8oz tube in each drawer for a total of 2 lbs :thumbsup:

I probably don't need 2 lbs but the extra just helps it recover faster after the door has been opened.
