I try to take in account, weather conditions. Sounds kinda weird; but totally agreeing with posts 4 & 5; the wind and humidity can really take a toll on your smoke. >>>for instance; once I took an OpusX #5 out of my cigar caddy down to the water to enjoy...it turned into a sponge in no time flat. unsmokeable. ended up smoking my larger RG smokes by the beach.

like many of the answers to questions here; it's all about personal preference; IMHO

Just came back from MB myself; found a local shop (East End Cigar Co.) & smoked some of their house blends, very tasty.

Didn't have too much of a problem with humidity, but the wind sure was burning my sticks up pretty quickly.

Took a bay cruse one day, lots of spray and wind. One of the other passengers was smoking (looked like an H. Upmann but I didn't ask) but I didn't want to risk a wet cigar.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Been down here since Saturday and I have enjoyed quite a few cigars. Just some stuff I brought down. Not too much trouble other than some strong breezes.

I hit up the Tinder Box @ Broadway at the Beach and picked up a few things. I plan on checking out Low Country Cigar in Murrells Inlet tomorrow. Some locals here said it was an awesome local spot.

Sorry to hear you paid too much at the Tinder Box @ Broadway. Even though you didn't say it, I know.... I've been caught in that tourist trap just about every time I've been there. :headroll:

Don't miss Low Country Pipe & Tobacco up in Little River!!! Blows everything else away!!! Don't confuse it with Low Country Cigar...

BTW, don't forget to check out Nick's up in North Myrtle Beach on 17...you'll pass it on your way to Little River...
