Over the years I have become a fan of large cigars (meaning Churchill and double coronas not so much gordos) and I'm hoping some of you can provide recommendations on certain cigars that work well in large vitolas.

A few personal favorites are the MOW double corona for its rich complexity, Tat gran cojonu for it's amazing taste ( I know it's not a DC but WTH), Torano Virtuoso for it's consistent construction and flavors of cocoa and sweet spice and Casa Magna because it is just flat delicious.

What are your favorites in this format and why?

I norm don't smoke to many large cigars either but the Drew Estate Liga Privada #9 Corona Doble 7 x 52 is a great smoke, and if I had more time would smoke more of them.

If you think the Gran Cojonu taste great, try the Cojonu 03. They both smoke in about the same time frame and the 03 is much easier to hold.

If you guys want to try a massive cigar try the Perdormo Inmenso. I used to smoke big cigars 5 years ago and this thing was really big. It looks like I was smoking a big "pole". It was pretty tasty but burned horribly.

Tat RCs are great
Anejos are better in the larger vitolas
La Gloria Cubana Serie R (maddie for you) is great, but can get tiring if you get a longer vitola
La Flor Dominicana had a ton of stuff...
Small Batch 1, 2 or 3
Limitado (spicier)
Even the box press is pretty big

The thing with the larger vitolas is that they can show alot of the inconsistencies in the blend. You really have to get good tobacco and have a good blend to have a really good large cigar. Plus, you've got to have something you're not going to get tired of.
