mini refridgerator

Can you use a mini refridgerator as a humidor? I was wondering becuase i have one sitting in my cellar and i was thinking it could be done.

Here's a dumb question (and it applies to the wineadors too). Why would you plug it in? Are you able to alter the core to somehow "heat" the box? I never really got the concept (or looked enough into...) of actually plugging in the minifridge/wineador. Don't most wine fridges sit around 55 degrees? I don't want to chill my cigars!

My Vinotemp goes up to 65, and with an ETC(External Temperature Controller) you can set it to what you want, such as 70 degrees. Works great for hot climates or like my place where in the heat of summer the average temp inside the house is around 80 degrees during the day when I am not home.

sure, but why not just get a tupperware container for your cigars and keep your beer cold with the fridge :applause:
Very valid point but I already do keep my beers cold with my big fridge in my kitchen. haha There is not much food in it anyways so plenty of room for beverages.
