I have Dish Network, no gripes since last year when they wouldn't negotiate with FOX and I lost FX/FOX/FOX NEWS/etc for like 3 weeks in the middle of Sons of Anarchy....I was PEEEE OHHHHHED!

You'll love U-Verse. I have been an adherent since it was first offered up in my neighborhood and have no complaints. We have AT&T Internet, U-Verse Voice and Wireless.
We have never looked back to our old providers.
If you did not get the exhaustive features book, you need to download it. There's a ton of stuff you can do. Stuff the rep may have overlooked.
I just hope that they get NBA package next year (if there's a season) and I hope when the NFL's contact is up with DISH they get Sunday Ticket.

I Loved Direct TV when I had it.
But Im finding that Comcasnt now has many more features.

do you think directv is superior to dish, and if so, why? how about price?
I think they are superior in terms of picture quality, and channel choices. There are a few channels that aren't in HD vs. Dish Network, but I'm very happy.
In terms of price, they are equal. I figured if I was going to pay the same, might as well get the best quality.
I've had my uverse for just over a month now and love it. Internets been grate, I had one issue with my tv and actually opened a trouble ticket through my box and had a rep call me back and get me back online in about 10 minutes.
