Greetings everyone from Salida, CA (next to Modesto, CA)!
My name is Bill, and I have been involved in inernet-related cigar forums and discussions since the mid 1990s. I started out on CompuServe back in the day when there was a small cigar section that was part of their wine discussion group. I also spent quite a few years on alt.smokers.cigars when newsgroups were the rage. Since web-based forums have been out, I have been a member of several - so many that I can't count as a matter of fact. As most of you know, some have come and some have gone - it seems like there are always changes being made and it is tough to keep track sometimes.
I am still a member of several, and find that I do a lot more reading than posting in most. I am a moderator on one of the cigar forums that I post on regularly. I do recognize several handles here, and this seems to be an active forum with a lot of great activitiy - that is why I thought I would check it out!
I have also recently started testing the waters with a new cigar-related podcast - Cigar Snapshot... it is still very new with some kinks that are getting worked out, but check it out if you'd like (Can't post link yet since this is my first post).
As for what I like to smoke... let's see... Vegas Robaina, HdM, Ramón Allones, Romeo, Sancho Panza, Punch, Padrón, Tatuaje, Illusione, and the new EPC releases (to name just a few)... can you tell I have the sickness?
