New Blackberry user

Never been in a position at my jobs to require a phone, which I didn't mind. My new job has me flying around the lower southeast on occasion, so my boss decided I needed a company phone. Our new policy is blackberries only and I'm getting a 9330, a Curve, sometime this week. My wife's pretty happy since she'll get my Samsung with Android, but I'll miss it.

So, any advice for some good apps to check out? I bought Forum Runner, which doesn't appear to be on the BB, but Tapatalk is, so I may have to switch. BBMessenger seems to be a big thing now, but I don't know what the deal is? :scratchhe

Any advice for a new Crackberry user? :dunno:

I have a blackberry due to work also. It sucks. I don't have the tap talk because I don't want to drop the $10 on it. If you work has the phone on lockdown where you need to enter a password everytime you pick the phone up invest in the unlock it app. It works like a champ.

Thanks guys, very encouraging. I have dreaded this for some time. I knew it was bad when I was talking with the IT guy and he was ready to buy my phone and get rid of the BB.

Yes, it is required to be locked too, so thanks for the tip.

Welcome to the BB world, I still like surfing botl better on my bb than on my android.

make sure you get opera mini, its faster and works better. and bb messenger is an excellent resource.
