I am thinking about signing up for S&S. Does anyone know if the auctions of stuff from Pete's collection have been happening? That would definitely tip the scales for me.
It has not, and it is not going to be auctioned. He is going to just post it for sale, first come first serve. This will make it more about being in the right place at the right time, rather then how much money you have.

Thanks, good to know. I'll have to see what's left after vacation and decide on S&S. Seems like a great package regardless.

So other than the members kit, which is nice, I'm not really seeing a great benefit. I really don't care about the forum access or his video blog...don't get into watching someone else travel, I do enough of it myself.

you get a discount on merchandise, but I don't buy branded stuff typically so not a selling point. If it got you a discount on smokes for the year, then I'd be cool with that, but other than the points I list above, can someone make a solid point for being a "groupy"?

Supposedly the club members will get first shot at limited stuff and also a chance to buy some of Pete's personal stash on occasion, though none of that has happened as of yet. Still, I thought the membership kit and cigars were well worth the price of admission by themselves.

In my opinion the cost is worth it. The sticks are fun and cover a lot of the costs... the membership kit is awesome. I initially questioned whether I should join since it would cut into my cigar budget... I'm now glad that I did... no complaints or second guessing.

if you didn't go through the box carefully, you could miss it. it wasn't very well wrapped.
Just did again paper by paper no coin, not a big deal I just collect them but it's not military so no big deal. Nice bunch of cigars :)

I just got mine today. And I must say it was beyond my expectations. The stoges look great, and the challenge coin and membership card are awesome, as well as everything else that came with it. Can't wait to try the smokes.

Oh maybe not the place to mention this but Pete personally donated to the Troops through me. He is a good guy no different than us except he makes some great cigars.

Thanks Pete!

What's the consensus on this club? Any other cigars being offered to members? I'm considering joining!

You can only read the thread if you are a S&S member. Go to Tatuajecigars.com and click S&S. If you are a member you can login, click Socialize button, and then click the Smokes/Review category. There are a lot of reviews in there, not just the S&S sticks.
