Haven't spend a ton of time in that neighborhood, but I do recall good pizza at Vinnys, decent enough steaks at Yukon and great pepperoni sandwich and fries at the Sand Bar (they have also been known to have some surprisingly decent bands many evenings.) If you're headed down to Norfolk/Va Bch, there's way too much food, drink, entertainment to begin to list here.
If you golf, bring your sticks. All the base courses in the area are decent and very reasonably priced.
I assume you can get on base - if so, you can get close enough to the ships for a pretty impressive windshield tour depending on what happens to be in port at the time.
Tons to do on both sides of the tunnels. History, golfing, fishing, sightseeing, nightlife, music......
