Wouldn't you like to know?
I think the plan is that everything that is a LCDH release is a short term release. Think gold medals were around for 5 years then deleted as did many of the SCDLH LCDH cigars. I may be the only one that likes this marketing ploy as most of the newer LCDH stuff has been very good as well. And if it keeps good fresh new products hitting the shelves every 5 years just make sure you stock up before they are gone. Most retailers will have stocks of gold medals for at least a year if not a few so really will be on the shelves for 7 or 8 years

So they are SERIOUSLY ending the Bolivar Corona Extra? That's my favorite Habano.

And it looks like the Trinidad Robusto T is gone unless they are changing the box size, that's another of my favorite Habanos.

I've never had an LGC Tainos, but it's been on my list since it's a classic Habano.

WTF, H.S.A. You can kiss my ass. I've hated HSA already, but now they are dead to me. Screw Cubans.

Boli pc and mags no longer in cabs, that really sucks. Not the same in dress boxes if you ask me.

Tainos are a shame to go also.
Absolutely agree. These actually surprise me.

On the subject of deletions, I would assume that most of these are being discontinued because they do not sell. The reasons they do not sell are what interest me. For example, I absolutely love the VR Familiares, but quit buying them several years ago because they were constantly plugged. If that experience is widely spread, then it is no wonder that stick is being pulled. I had the same problem with the Clasicos. Some here will remember my rant a few years back about my VR "PCs"; Clasicos cut down to the point that I could at lease salvage some of the smoke.

While admittedly anecdotal evidence, I begin to wonder if quality control is slipping to the point where it affects sales, much like the late 90's and into the early part of the millennium. This is just a theory with no empirical evidence. . .:dunno: It is too bad too, because some of the recent vintages of Cuban tobacco are stellar. . .

I agree. BGMs will be around for a while. They probably just didn't sell as well as HSA had hoped. Has ANYONE seen a box of BGM with a code later than 2008? I have not. Too many already sitting on the shelves. And FWIW, I'd rather smoke an Inmensa than GM. They were cut in 2008 & are still available.
