Pete called these cigars "Really strange, but good." I haven't had one yet, but based on the reviews I think what he meant by "strange" was the fact that it's not Pepin-y. He also said they can be overly dirty ... but I like dirty sometimes.
I plan to smoke my first tomorrow, even though I just got them in yesterday, lol. I never do that, but they seem dry enough (so did the Fausto ... I'm thinking these were rolled and boxed a few months ago, as they have lost that "fresh from the factory" dampness that's so common out of there).
So do you think this would be a good morning smoke? That's when I was planning to try it.

Everything I've heard about them has suggested they need time. I've had 4 in my humidor for a few weeks now, I might have to try one soon to see what the fuss is about.

Yes I have...I liked the Fausto much better. These sticks did not blow me away as I had hoped they would so I'm hoping that with some time they'll tatse better.
I have had the corona and short churchill. Very unique flavor profile ...chewy. I enjoyed em but found the corona to have a tight draw which I contributed to the humidity (it is 100% broadleaf). I think they are worth a try, would like to see what some age does to em.
This cigar could be cigar of the year :drool:
I've smoked half a box so far. Fantastic cigar. Great flavors. 2 of mine have been plugged....I do hate that.
