Hey searched the forum just couldn't find the answer so hopefully somebody can help me.

Question: will putting a boveda pack in with the heartfelt beads ruin the beads? I know any gel humidifier will ruin the beads but boveda packs are just H2O and salt so would there be a problem?

And a related question, can the HCM beads be used in with Heartfelt beads without ruining either?

thanks in advance.

none of these products will ruin the other. beads and Bovedas make a good combo.

you just want to pair similar humidity levels.

when using 65% beads with 65% bovedas, you use your beads as instructed. The Boveda will be your insurance policy. if you added too much water to the beads, the boveda will suck up the excess. if your beads become dry, and you are not at home to refill, your bovedas will take over humidifying your cigars.

I toss in a take out pack from Fuente boxes instead of adding water to beads from time to time. My beads are 65 and the packs are 70 I think so the beads take up the water from the bovedas. It seems to work well for me.
