Oh, and if it's helpful, this will be the eighth group buy I've done, and typically it's coordinated across five or six different boards, so if you don't see much past information on this particular board, it's because I don't think this board has actually ever participated in any of the group buys, there have just been quite a few members who have bought "leftovers" from the last group buy BBB7.

The heartfelt bands that I have used dont stay closed. Maybe its just me but I put the bands on, then a few days later its barely hanging onto the cigar. I ended up with a lot of cigars with unidentifiable years because of those heartfelt bands.
Sounds like a real bummer.
The bands I sell have a very strong adhesive, so it's important that the adhesive only contact the other end of the band, but conversely, I have cigars that have had my bands on them for 11 years, and the bands are still holding very strong.
