NCAA Football

Is anyone else as excited as I am about a beautiful new season of NCAA football coming up? Growing up, I liked NFL football but as soon as I got to college it was forgotten. I love the camaraderie and the excitement that I never got with NFL. Probably because I grew up in Orlando, no NFL team there, and went to college at the University of Florida, during the best years they had 4 championships in less than 4 years. It doesn't get much better than that.

Good luck to all of the NCAA teams out there that will be playing on Saturday.

I'm a Saints season ticket holder and really like the NFL, but I'm so excited for the weekend of football. College is totally different experience... I love them both.

My money is on Missouri. The SEC won't want another team in their immediate recruiting area that can pull recruits away from their core schools. North Carolina is another great option, although they bring nothing to the SEC football program. The basketball reasons are obvious.

I make sure to go to every single home game. NFL games I have been to just don't compare, there is so much school spirit here it is unbelievable. I can see a guy in a mall wearing Seahawks stuff but I wont say anything. If I see a guy in Cougar stuff I will yell "Go Cougs!" at him and he will return the chant. Just a lot greater comradery that goes with NCAA. First home game is this Saturday.

Notre Dame has a great atmosphere. Ive been to one of their season openers and it was an awesome time.They have a beautiful Campus. Tailgating and hitting the local bars around the school was pretty awesome!

Almost as good as being an Aggie and going to one of our games...Almost...

O hell ya, I love me some college football. Utah had there home opener last night. started tailgating about 2:00 game at 6:00.

Won but held a lot back. We are pumped to be in the PAC12, bring on USC next week.

Excited? I am and I am not. University of Kentucky season ticket holder. Im used to them being the doormat of the SEC but my god they looked bad Thursday night against WKU. Gonna be a long season. Lets just hope the weather stays warm so the girls wear very little clothes to the home games.

I hate to say it, but it's the same as any other year for ND.....overrated to begin the season with undeserved hype, then quickly back to reality and losing games against teams they're favored over.
