I will start out saying My wife is very supportive about my cigars she dosent mind that I buy more cigars every week then I'll ever smoke but I got a new ashtray today and from the inlaws and am out on the porch smoking a padron when my wife comes out with her marlboro(eww) and begins to flip her ash in my tray then I proceed to tell her that this ashtray is cigarette free lol she looks at me and says "your an idiot" but I was honestly serious anyone else wierd like I am? Lol anyway sorry for rambling just thought it was funny

We smoke in the house... my wife takes my lighters and ashtrays all the time to smoke her cigarettes. But, she doesn't care that I have two Coolidors at home full of boxes or that I smoke cigars. Occasionally she asks me to quiet just because she gets that way sometimes.

So, the way that I look at it... as long as she doesn't give me too much grief than I'll let her use my stuff. Calling you "an idiot" is not grief in my book... not that I know you, but I've heard worse out of my wife's mouth on different topics directed toward me.

IMO... Let her use the ash tray.

She wasn't mad she has her own ashtray on the porch and just proceeded to use that I just thought it was funny and also I'm trying to get her to try cigars I think she would really enjoy them but for the time being it's a no go

I actually snagged a few generic cigarette ashtrays from a bar(owner is a good friend) for that reason. While it's not that big of a deal to me, I'm still a smart ass to anyone that uses my cigar ash trays for their cigarettes.

Absolutly pisses me off when someone flips cigerette ashes into my cigar ashtray or puts there butt out there as well. It's really an anal issue I have and nothing personal. I appreciate the company, just not the cigeretts. I try to keep seperate ashtrays available for when the need is there and everyone seems to understand.

Same here, leaf is leaf in my book. If it grows and you can smoke it, go for it. So long as I'm outside, where ever the ash ends up is of little consequence to me.

That is usually how it goes. I look at it like this, as long as I do not have to smoke by myself sometimes, then I am happy. I smoke by myself all the time, but I am a real social smoker. I like to sit down with a group of friends enjoy a scotch or bourban, smoke and just shoot the breeze. I have always been like that. I have had some of my best conversations and experiences because of leaf.

Well when I told her at first I was being serious then I ended up thinking it was funny... her and her friend ended up using the tray the night after this so no Big deal and yes I do clean my tray religiously after every smoke so it didn't really matter
