I hear that. I rationalize it this way: Good CCs have some age on them. Aged CCs are more expensive than "fresher" ones. I try to save up a bit and buy a couple boxes of fresh ones (usually on special), one that has a history of aging well and one that has a history of being a good smoke much sooner. That way I build up a bit of a "cellar" and still have smokes.....

May not work for you, but it's made it easier for me to pull the trigger a couple of times. 'Course then I have to keep my mitts out of the "cellar" boxes....usually easier said than done. My "box graveyard" reminds me that every time I pass it.........

If you haven't pulled the trigger yet....

I just accepted delivery of my Punch and 898s. They are both beautiful cigars, but the 898s have a deep rich smell that blows the Punch away! They are resting in the humidor right now after their long trip, but I'll be waking one of each up soon.

If I was to order another box, it would be the 898s (and I might just have to do that when I can)
