"Each cigar is made in the traditional Cuban style of tubing the filler (entubado) and then finished off with a beautiful triple cap."

Is that the same thing Berger & Argenti is doing with their "Entubar" cigar? They released there Entubar back in January I believe.

Never heard of the cigar...but there used to be this bar in Chi town called the 13th Floor. Three floors of babes and music. Each floor had a different music theme. Great place, I think they might have changed the name to the Excaliber but I'm not sure.
However that tangent being said if I can find the stogie I'll give it a shot!

Hey Guys, my name is Bryan White, owner of 13th Floor Cigars. Interesting when you Google yourself (I guess it was a random act of narcissim on my part :shame:) what comes up. Well I am glad this thread popped up on the first page. We just launched our company on 5/22 here in the Phoenix Area. We are working on opening accounts with retailers nationwide over the next several months.

Over the past few months (pre-production sticks) we have received some great feedback on our first series - The Foundation. We launched with 3 sizes - Robusto (5x50), Toro (6x52), and Churchill (7x50).

Now that I am back on this site - I will be posting updates as we open accounts through the US.

Thanks Doc, here is the tale of the tape for our first series.

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Eduadorian
Filler: Nicaraguan

Here is an overview of our first Foundation Blend. We started with a complex blend of Nicaraguan fillers, brought them together with an Ecuadorian binder, then wrapped it in a beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, and finished it with a triple cap. The Foundation Series provides a rich and creamy flavor profile with seductive undertones of sweet spice, and perfect accents of cedar and black pepper. Medium body and strength with enough complexity to keep you interested from start to finish. We blended this to open the door for all cigar smokers, from those just starting out to the true aficionado.

In all honesty - it has been awesome to see the statement in the last sentence happening. I have a lot of friends who may have a cigar on a special occasion or celebration. It has been awesome to hear guys that have tried our cigar now looking to purchase a humidor and see their excitement about getting into cigars. Conversely, as we have partnered with El Titan de Bronze to roll for us - ETB is right on Calle Ocho in the heart of Little Havana, Miami. This being said - if you know Calle Ocho - there are some pretty BIG names in the cigar industry right across the street who have smoked our cigars and given them thumbs up.

I have a couple questions as well if you don't mind:

(1.) What's your estimated production so far?
(2.) How many shops are you in currently?
(3.) Will you be at the IPCPR show?

Thanks in advance.

Converting those that are cigar-interested into cigar-lovers, now that's converting I can agree with. I'd be real interested in trying a stick or two, as they sound pretty tasty.

It would really appreciate it if you shot me a pm when they become available, I've always wanted to do something like this, and hearing about it makes me feel like I've done it in a way (kinda like how parents live through their children).

Let me adopt you.

Sounds quite interesting as I am a big fan of Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers!

I would love to know where I might procure a few sticks to try.

We launched our brand on 5/22 and have started to open accounts in the Phoenix area. Over the past couple of weeks we have been contacted by several shops in multiple states who are interested in sampling our smokes and potentially carrying our line.

In the next couple of weeks I am hopeful that we will be able to open a small number or accounts with B&M stores that offer an online option to purchase 5 packs and boxes. I will update you guys when these become available.

Doc Zhivago - "let me adopt you" that was great. In all seriousness I appreciate the interest and as we expand our business I will be reaching out to you guys directly. The first series was my best gut feel for what I thought would be a great blend for the market now. We have a go to market strategy in place for the next 12-18 months and this includes critical interaction with our customers.

Seriously...It sounds like you have a quality product, a passion for cigars, and a good marketing strategy. These ingredients have been proven successful!
