Who care what other people do with their money? These are a collectors item at this point and so their cost is completely out of line with their value as cigars. You would feel differently about it if you were sitting on some old unopened coffins.

That picture only shows Little, pudgy and skinny monsters.... technically you would still need every dress box to complete the set..

I can see why they are so expensive. There's a lot of unicorns with the older releases. I wouldn't pay that much, but I'd love to get some of the older dress boxes at reasonable prices. I only have the Hyde and Krueger right now. I would be worried the older ones are past their prime to smoke. I had a Drac last year and it didn't have much flavor left.
