  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Far from perfect, but the coop is done. Now to work on framing the 8' run and attaching the chicken wire.

Nicely done. How many chicks can you fit in there at once?
I love the outdoor entertaining area. I am sure the chicks will love that feature too.

I have 6 in there right now but could have done a few more.

The part under roof is 4' x 8' and the open part is 8' square.

Yea, he's been sleeping since 9:30 this morning so he hasn't seen the chickens yet. Usually I sigh a relief when he is napping but I wish he would wake up! :grin:

So what are you gonna do with these chicks? They gonna lay eggs or are you gonna pump em up and then eat em.
