Smoking a dog walker right now. I have to say I am surprised by the full favors and massive amounts of smoke. I was definitely caught off guard by this little fella.

Had a church last week. Enjoyed it for the most part. Flavors seemed a little muted and muddled, but not bad. However, at $10 and change (B&M single price), there are too many other, better cigars for my taste.

Had one this morning also, I really really do enjoy the smaller sizes, good stuff man!

Maybe it's because of tax-free NH, but I get the churches around 8-9 a piece, I personally don't smoke any of them larger than the corona (unless it's the new lancero, which is BADASS by the way) I truly believe this blend was meant to be smoked in a corona or smaller size (such as the londres, robusto and petite corona) The flavors aren't as "muted" as you experienced, and the richness of the Mata Fina really shines in those vitolas

Good cigar but it's all about what the smoker thinks instead. I will smoke one every now and then but for me there are more cigars worthy of my time and money...but as has always been said..smoke what you like..like what you smoke.

The Corona and Robusto's are goto's for mid-day smoke. Always perform with great flavors IMHO. Price cannot be beat either. That reminds me I need to pick up more myself.

Ok I am sure by now you have smoked this so I am wondering if you liked it? I read a little bit about this smoke and it sounds like it is something that is up my alley.

From what I understand it'll be a full production smoke eventually, good find snagging one though. Personally, I liked it better than the Hustler, you can really taste the nicaraguan full-bodied profile right off the bat.

I love the Dog Walker and the lancero and the CG too. Plus you can get the lance for under $6 and the Dogwalker under $3. Not as big a fan of the 1874.

Smoked the Dog Walker and the Londres. Not a complex or premium by any means, but it's right there with the MUWAT as an enjoyable little corona. The Papas Fritas still edges it out, but its a great little flavorbomb.

Oddly, I don't really care for it in the larger size, and wouldn't want to smoke it for long, maybe 30 min. It's one of the few sticks I love in a small format and don't like in any other. It reminds me a lot of AJ's stuff, like the Vegas AAA in the larger format, it has too much chalk and too much of that dyed-maduro flavor (Disclaimer: I don't know if it's really "dye" that I'm tasting, but I get the same flavor from those two, the Rocky Patel Edge, the a LOT in the 5 Vegas Gold Maduro, and a few others, always only get it on the cheap-maduro cigars) If I smoke a bigger stick, or a longer one, I want it to have more complexities, subtleties and be a lot more refined. But for a quick hit, it'll do the job.

I smoked the hell out of a lancero the other day. The first and second third were pretty mild-medium and changed flavor over and over, then it settled down and flexed its muscle in the final third finishing very well. I thought it was an interesting and delicious cigar.

Sorry, just seeing this now. I posted that pic. I did smoke it a few months ago, and I reluctantly report that it didn't wow me, but it was a show stick, and I don't think it's wise to make a judgment on just one. Hopefully I will be able to try another at some point soon...

Yeah with this blend the smaller the ring gauge the better. No diggity no doubt.
I personally like the Churchill the best in the core line. There's a brief 5 minutes where you taste pure cocoa in the final third. I haven't found that in any of the other vitolas.
